On Tuesday 24th September St Gregory’s Catholic Primary school had been open 50 years. There was a special Mass in church to mark the event. The children then had a celebration day on Friday of the same week, they were asked to dress up as a famous person from the last 50 years or in 60’s fashion. They had a party to end the celebrations.
It was a fantastic day. The costumes were outstanding. Everyone had made a superb effort and there was a real celebratory atmosphere.
A lovely way to celebrate the occasion.
